MBLEx practice test · free full-length run

100 questions. 110 minutes. No going back.

A full-length MBLEx practice test built to FSMTB's published format: one question at a time, a clock that never stops, weighted to the seven content areas. Then a readiness estimate and a breakdown by area.

Every MBLEx attempt costs $265. Take all 100 questions here first.

    Free account. No card.

The real MBLEx adapts which questions you get; our practice form is a fixed set weighted the same way.

    How it works

    1. 01

Take the full-length form under the clock

100 items, 110 minutes, one continuous form.

LMTPrep practice simulator: question 37 of 100, 71:12 left, Next only (sample screen)
The simulator: one question at a time, Next only. Sample screen.
    2. 02

Read the worked solution on every item you missed

Each item carries a full explanation.

    3. 03

Work your weakest content area against its outline count

      Your result is broken out by content area, against the outline's shares (11 / 12 / 14 / 15 / 17 / 16 / 15%), so you know where to spend time.

    Frequently asked questions

Answers about the practice experience and access.

The MBLEx has 100 multiple-choice questions, each with 3 or 4 answer options, and you get 110 minutes to answer them. The appointment itself runs 120 minutes because it adds a 5-minute agreement and a 5-minute survey. The exam is a fixed-length computer-adaptive test: everyone answers 100 questions, but which questions you get adapts. The full format is on our MBLEx exam guide.

No. You answer in the order the questions appear, with no skipping, no flagging and no returning, and you can change an answer only before you move to the next question. Pearson VUE's FSMTB page puts it directly: "Flagging exam questions for later review is not permitted on the MBLEx." Our simulator follows the same rule: one question per screen, Next only.

You fail. FSMTB requires all 100 questions to be answered within 110 minutes, and an unfinished exam is a fail with no diagnostic report. There are no scheduled breaks, and the clock keeps running if you step out. Candidates often report finishing with time to spare, many in 35 to 60 minutes, but pace yourself to finish. In our simulator, any question still unanswered at 0:00 counts as wrong and the run is marked incomplete.

Yes. MBLEx Check costs $25 and has 100 timed questions weighted like the content outline, in English or Spanish. FSMTB calls it "the only FSMTB-authorized practice exam." FSMTB also sells an e-Study Guide ($35) with a 100-question practice exam and answers, and a print guide ($39.95). Using MBLEx Check alongside LMTPrep is a reasonable plan.
